Your mission
As the leader of Johnson Hana’s Legal Secondments offering, you will leverage your broad legal expertise to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of legal solutions. You will oversee the successful deployment of our legal secondees, support our client engagements needs and drive the evolution of our Legal Secondments offering into a strategic managed services solution or enhanced secondment offering by leveraging our technology, data and insights.
This role requires a visionary leader with strategic vision who can align our core product lines with client needs, and shape innovative and scalable legal solutions for our clients. You will act as a strategy arm for our clients, helping guide, inform and influence how they resource their teams, engage technology and leverage data and insights around legal function performance to showcase their value to the wider business. At the same time, you’ll cultivate a vibrant and supportive community of legal secondees, designing professional development opportunities, deploying legal tools to assist their work, and fostering a shift towards a consultancy mindset.
You will report to the Head of Legal, sit within the wider legal solutions team and work closely with the Contracts and Data Protection Function Leads, and the dedicated talent management team. You will play a critical role in championing innovations for Johnson Hana and our clients on existing client workstreams, overseeing the deployment of legal secondees and compliance consultants; supporting them on engagements; collaborating with consultants and clients to identify and understand client challenges to craft bespoke managed services solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the nexus of Johnson Hana’s Legal Secondments offering, working closely with commercial, talent management and delivery teams to ensure the success of each engagement, priming us for long-term relationships with existing clients and creating a platform for evolved solutions and scale with these clients.
- Lead the transformation of the legal secondment product line into high-value managed service offerings.
- Be the technical expert through the sales process leveraging your legal experience to work alongside our commercial team to gain a deep understanding of clients’ challenges and develop a secondment solution to their needs.
- Work with our talent management team to identify suitable consultants from our extensive panel to match client requirements and project specifications as well as providing key insights into the strategic direction of our panel recruitment efforts.
- Provide ongoing technical support to ensure high-quality delivery and acting as a key point of contact for the consultant within Johnson Hana alongside relevant commercial team members.
- Regularly meet with consultants to gather insights, identify client pain points, and shape future opportunities.
- Work with our talent management team to design and deliver relevant training for the JH consultant pool.
- Collaborate with our talent management team to develop the JH consultant community ensuring high levels of engagement.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, gaining an understanding of their challenges and identify potential for more innovative solutions.
